How 2 restrict what users see?
Very impressed with Siteframe - spent most of today getting into it. One question thuogh, how can I partition people from seeing everyone else? Would like to use Siteframe for my customers, but don't want them to be able to see everyone else :)
Can this be done easily?
Thanks in advance,

Thanks in advance,
Paul,
Access control lists (ACLs) are supported for folders, but they only prevent users from posting not viewing. You may be able to keep the folder private and do a check in your template file for folder.public=false and that the user is on the ACL. Have not tried to see if this info is passed to smarty so I am not sure it could be done right now through template code. I'll let Glen weigh in on any details he cares to add.

Siteframe was intended from the very beginning (~2000) to facilitate the sharing of information, and not its restriction. In fact, since Siteframe made it so very easy to upload and share images, an initial decision was made to keep openness and transparency central features of the software to prevent its use by child pornographers, etc. Frankly, if you have a need to control access to information, Siteframe is not the right package to use. It's sort of like using a billboard on the freeway to store your Social Security number -- it's possible, but definitely not encouraged.
